The Training Center

NUCLEP manages in Itaguaí an Industrial Learning Course for the professional education of young apprentices trained to meet the current requirements of the labor market. Due to the inauguration of the Company in 1980, and because it was at the time, pioneering manufacturing technology in the country, its absorption and fixation required qualified personnel at levels and standards that often do not exist in Brazilian labor market. Thus, the decision to establish the Technical Training Center to develop and qualify part of its workforce was strategic. Through governmental regulations, the didactic-pedagogical actions of the course are articulated and integrated between theory and practice that provide the professional qualification in the areas of boilermaking, technical drawing, maintenance mechanics, welding and forming. In addition to providing the country with a quality technical reserve, the insertion of young professionals in the labor market has been determinant for the social, economic and ecologically sustainable development of the Itaguaí City and adjacent regions. The Technical Training Center also promotes training courses for NUCLEP employees, valuing the practice of continuous learning, to generate effective results in the provision of services, and stimulates the development, innovation and retention of human capital. Technical Training Center promotes partnerships, looking for technical cooperation through the development of projects of common interest, in line with the goals programmed by the company. Regarding activities related to professional training, we highlight the following partnerships: - Agreement with the Municipal Government of Itaguaí, to maintain and expand the attendance of students / apprentices in the Professional Qualification Course; - Agreement of Technical and Financial Cooperation, signed with nineteen state-owned companies, aiming at the creation and maintenance of the National Ethics Management Forum in State-owned Enterprises. The Forum aims to "The development and strengthening of governmental and business ethics management principles; - Agreement for Technical and Financial Cooperation with the Brazilian Maintenance Association - ABRAMAN for Qualification and Certification of Level I Maintenance Boiler; - Agreement with the Secretary of State for Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro and the Foundation for Technical School Support - FAETEC, which maintains a technical course at the Technical Training Center of NUCLEP at the intermediate level in mechanics, at night time; - Agreement of Technical and Financial Cooperation with TROMPOWSKY Institute of the Brazilian Army; Th quality and social level of recognition that the Professional Qualification Course taught by NUCLEP enabled the company to: - Receive in 1996 the "Education Quality of Work Award", established by MEC, UNICEF, Odebrecht Foundation and Brazilian Institute of Studies and Community Support; - To integrate, in the period from 2002 to 2003, by invitation, the Education Committee of the Public Ethics Committee; - To integrate in the period from 2003 to 2004, on invitation, the National Forum of State Enterprises for Education; - Receive in 2005 the "CREA-RJ Seal of Social Responsibility", promoted by the Regional Council of Engineering, Architecture and Agronomy of the State of Rio de Janeiro; - To be a reference for the creation of the Federal Program "Factory School"; - Integrate from 2005 to 2008 the Federal Program "Factory School"; - Be the motivator of the Citizen Company Seal, promoted by the Regional Accounting Council, which NUCLEP received in the years 2012 and 2013.
