Certifications of the Quality Management System
The implementation of a quality management system at the NUCLEP was a strategic choice and was defined and supported by the senior managers. It aims the maintainance and improvement of the quality of services and products in order to guarantee customer satisfaction and the commitment of all employees to the company's objectives, thereby achieving greater competitiveness and market prominence.
Nuclep started on April 19, 2017 the project to implement and certify its Environmental Management System in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 14001: 2015 standard. Those interested can follow the development of this important initiative here. The Quality Management System of NUCLEP meets the requirements of national and international codes and standards:
Certification of the Quality Management System according to ABNT NBR ISO 9001: 2008 standard
ASME III Certification to:
Nuclear components manufacture (NPT Stamp)
Nuclear application supports manufacture (NS Stamp)
Nuclear application equipment assembly (NA Stamp)
ASME VIII Certification to:
Conventional pressure vessels manufacture (U Stamp)
Conventional pressure vessels manufacture, with differentiated rules (U2 Stamp)
National Board Certification authorizing:
Stamp a "National Board Number" on boilers and pressure vessels inspected by a National Board Authorized Inspector (NB Stamp)
Perform repairs and / or changes to boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure retention items.
Certification according to CNEN-NN-1.16 standard
Enabling to provide equipment (according to specific list) to Eletronuclear, INB and CTMSP. NUCLEP is in the process of implementing a system based on ISO 14001 standard, developing and practicing environmentally sustainable policies and goals, and OHSAS 18001 standard, implementing best practices requirements in occupational health and safety management.
