Clean condition room

A special controlled environment for the welding of nuclear components and special equipment.

With controlled access of people, tools, products and devices, this environment, with the same type of monitoring of a surgical center, requires work teams and visitors to wear special clothing, as well as a shoe cover, preventing the entrance of any kind of particle in the environment. The clean room of NUCLEP is rated: 100,000 particles, 0.5 μm / ft³. It has 1,117 square meters (45 m x 26 m) with 8 m if height. The metal gates and retractable ceilings allow the placement of large equipment with up to 200 t. The internal pressure that causes the airflow to always be directed from the inside out, even when the door of the room is open. This environment has a ventilation system with filters and temperature and pressure control. Air quality checking is done directly through the supervisory control program, while air quality is ensured by controlling the differential pressure of the filters. Relative humidity is below 60% and ambient temperature is maintained at 22 °C.
